Hi all! I have this lovely pair who’ve built a nest in my tree (we didn’t trim it early enough before they’ve picked it, so it will remain dead on the top from winter kill until next season), and for the first time I hear our girl making these calls? I’ve not heard her make them before, she was doing it for about two minutes before I got the idea to pull out my phone, at which point she flew away.
Is she saying anything specific? I only wonder because I’ve not heard that particular call before, and it’s our first time having the honour of housing a nest.
