Thoughts on POLIMI GSOM Masters: Digital Product Management vs. Digital Transformation
Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking into the Specializing Masters at POLIMI GSOM, specifically the ones in Strategic Management, Digital Product Management and Digital Transformation.
I'm coming from a background in Engineering and Analytics and want to pivot into more strategic roles. And I have a few questions for anyone familiar with the school:
- Reputation: How are these programs viewed by recruiters compared to other top European business schools? Does a degree from POLIMI GSOM carry enough weight to be competitive in the German or French job markets?
- Industry Ties: Are the corporate partners mostly Italian firms, or do big international tech companies actively recruit from these specific programs?
- Career Service: Does the school provide strong networking opportunities for roles in Italy and the broader EU market (specifically Germany or the Netherlands)?
- Placement: For international students, how easy is it to land a role in English-speaking environments in Milan or abroad after graduating?
- Experience: If you’ve done either of the course, was it worth the tuition in terms of the practical skills and the network you gained?
Would love to hear from any alumni or current students about the ROI and the quality of the faculty. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
