Made a handmade bag for old lady neighbor didnt end well
im (44)(m) ok so last month around april 20 a neighbor old lady around 70s asked me to make her a bag i was hesitant because of the deadline before may 9...i told ok ill make it i asked for 2k dp and upon completion just give me 2k for labor since theyre handstitched its already a bargain and we are neighbors she give me food once in a while..she gave 1k upfront and had to ask the other neighbor for the other 1k since granny forgot to give the other 1k.she gave me a old bag of hers to measure and said what she wanted with the bag im making( currency is in philippine peso to clear things ) so i got sick went to the ER april 27...even when i was not feeling well i little by little cut parts of the bag etc. just to meet the deadline...my day job is sales associate in a posh mall...leather works is my side gig been doing it 15years...got an IG page etc... so yesterday was my day off (may 7) went to hospital in the am (8am) to get results that was not released when i got out of the ER ...was able to get home around 10am so was feeling good and started the final stitching of the bag took me til 10pm 12hrs only took 2 breaks for lunch and dinner which was 30mins each...i dont have a table so i did it all on my single bed...i share a room with 2 other guys but they are always out so i can work when i get of my shift mall closes at 10pm i get home around 11pm renting a bedspace room....thaty routine i spend atleast 30mins to 1 hr to do her bag....so when i finished it...i was excited gonna get paid coz im short for cash since i spent a lot on meds etc and new food for my current diet which is not cheap...so went to here gave her the bag around 11pm she sleeps late so ok she checked it ahe said its beautiful very nice (wish i could upload pics here) so i said just give the payment in the morning...woke up early passed by her place she was busy with other peeps so i waited went back to my room...took a shower got dressed for work...went to her said hi...she said what seems to be the problem? i said granny the payment for the bag please...then she said its the wrong size,its too big...went inside got her other bag which was not the one i measured and she says thats not the price we talked about yadayadayada....and she gave me 500 pesos went inside her place...i was like granny this isnt my price i work hard for the bag etc im not scamming you...she never came out....AITAH in this story? i should have declined her...£#@& im so pissed....the 1k was suppose to go to my wife for mothers day this sunday just to eat out and go to the arcade for my son....my wife and son are in the province while i work in manila but i grew up a manila boy...she lives in the province but she used to work in manila then her mom got sick so now family is there im here...what you guys think?
