Severe compaction options.
I’ve been dealing with horrible stool compaction the last two weeks. Multiple very hard large bowl movements that ended up causing a prolapsed hemorrhoid. The last two days I’ve been trying to pass a huge obstruction that’s right on the edge of coming out. Issue is it’s horribly shaped and the hemorrhoid is making it impossible to come out. I’ve done so much miralax but that only made everything behind the blockage liquid and now I’m getting leakage around the obstruction. I’ve tried osmotic suppositories and no help. If I go to the er I assume they’ll want to manually break up the blockage but will they give anything to knock me out or help? The few times I’ve tried to manually break it up I’ve almost passed out from the hemorrhoid pain.
