Pretty good for a 3.5!!!

Pretty good for a 3.5!!!

This was really nice to get today! I've been fighting for my life through this hiatus, so seeing that people outside of my Discord are still reading the story is a huge relief lol.

(Just the first chapter, mind; that’s all I can really commit to lol)

If anyone is interested, I’d really like to support some newer authors by reading their first chapters and commenting what I think! I’ll consider any story that’s posted, but I’d like to prioritize folks that are just starting out and don’t have that many followers/reviews/etc yet. I’m also open to leaving that comment as a review if you want it for ratings reasons, but I’ll say up-front that while I’m fair and I do my best to be as supportive as possible, I won’t rate a story five stars unless it really wows me.

Also, I’ll read LitRPG but I don’t have a toooon of experience with it so you may want to take any of my advice with a grain of salt lol.

Anyway, if that’s something you might like, feel free to leave me a link to your story and I’ll check it out when I have some free time!

I've made a few posts in the past about this, but I think I could make a hundred posts about how much I appreciate the people who've taken a chance on my story and still have gratitude oozing out of my pores lmao.

But I also wanted to branch out and offer an honest thank you to every reader who takes time out of their day to try new stories, especially ones by newer authors <3 There's SO much content available online and in brick-and-mortar stores that sometimes getting eyes on your work when you're just starting out feels like you're a guppy swimming against a riptide, but the people who are willing to give those untested stories a shot are absolute lifelines--particularly the folks who make accounts to follow and comment and review. Even those TFTC comments are little reminders that a real person is out there somewhere connecting with a thing that you made and (hopefully!) enjoying it. It's validating in a way few things are, imo, having a complete stranger consume something you pour so much of yourself into and sharing a bit of themselves with you in turn.

And the readers that go above and beyond, subscribing on Patreon or what-have-you, recommending the book by word of mouth, joining Discords or mailing lists or whatever, omg. You guys have no idea how incredible you are. That kind of support is some life-affirming shit to receive as an author.

Anyway, to the readers and reader-writers who browse this sub, THANK Y'ALL SO SO MUCH!!! MWAH!
