Has anyone tried re-housing the Elegoo Canvas into a custom AMS-style enclosure?

I’m considering a mod for the Elegoo Canvas where the internal feed system stays completely stock, but the outer housing is redesigned/replaced.

The idea would be to build a custom AMS-style enclosure or cradle so the Canvas can sit above the Centauri Carbon / Centauri Carbon 2, similar to how the Bambu AMS sits on top of their printers.

I’m not trying to modify the extruder/feed mechanisms, motors, sensors, or electronics. Only the outer shell/housing and mounting layout.

Has anyone added Canvas to their CC1 yet?

My CC1 prints noticeably better and more consistently than my CC2, so I’m a little hesitant to change anything about it. I’m interested in adding Canvas to the CC1, but I’m concerned it could affect the print quality/reliability I’m currently getting.

For anyone who has added Canvas to the CC1, did you notice any change in print quality, consistency, or reliability? Would you do it again?
