Hello everyone,

I am in vacations in China, and checked in recently in a Hotel. They requested me to pay the four nights I would be staying there upfront. And so I did. When I asked for an invoice they said only at checkout.

As an European, this did not made sense as the money had already left my balance account thus a transaction had been made and I was requesting proof of it. We started an argument and then they started stating it is just a deposit. If I wanted to stay only 2 nights instead of the initial 4 they would reimburse me.

Does this makes sense?
