Fellas, I've got the metal striker housing from McClane Defense paired with his extra fun disco. I was looking for a rate reducer, and I am leaning toward the Tombstone at the moment. It's 1.5 oz. Would the combined weight of the striker housing and the rate reducer stall the gun? 2.5 oz seems heavy to me. I understand that I would have to upgrade my recoil spring to a heavier one for sure, but I can't find a 1.0 oz rater reducer so far. If 2.5 oz works I wouldn't mind the loss in speed. I want to skip the plastics for this. Ultimately, I want to run a Pillager chassis, so I'm trying to keep the streamlined profile of the Tombstone or the OddMfg. I saw the "Ultimate Fix," adjustable one in aluminum, but I think it may be too bulky for it to slide through the pillager optic mount. Does anybody run the Ultimate Fix on a pillager? Does anybody know of a 1 oz RR? I guess I could just buy the 1.5 oz Tombstone and drill and tap some holes through it to serve as a form of adjustability, but I am trying to avoid that if I can. I have limited tools at the moment. I suppose another option is a weighted optic plate for an ounce, but I haven't found any in metal, and I don't like having to depend on the screws as much as the backplate for longevity. Right now, that's looking like the best option though.
