Hey everyone. I am reaching out to the community for some guidance after a pretty exhausting experience with the USPS.
To summarize a long story: USPS managed to lose a Mission to Earthphase Moonshine Gold that was being shipped to me for my birthday. After a significant amount of back and forth, I finally received the insurance payout. Even though the situation was far from ideal, I’ve decided to put that money, along with a little extra of my own, toward a genuine Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch. Especially because i’ve wanted one so long and when i finally pulled the trigger, poof!
I am very firm on one point: I have no interest in replica, unfortunately there are tons of replicas out for this particular watch.
Random questions:
Which secondary market platforms currently have the most reliable authentication processes for the MoonSwatch?
Are there specific red flags I should look for when browsing listings to ensure I am not looking at a replica?
For those in the DFW area, are there any local boutiques or reputable dealers you would suggest checking in person?
I’m sorry if this is against any rules, but i’ve kinda struck out options, and i just want this watch!!
