I just started watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, and why are all the names so cool?

The series itslef means "New Generation's Gospel" or something, the robots are named "Evangelion" like, the opening is "A Cruel Angel's Thesis", events named "Second Impact", NERV, Human Enhancement Project, the best one being the aura of the angels named "ATF", or "Absolute Terror Field", like so cool.

NOthing I want to say, just wanted to express how cool it all sounds. NO spoilers please since I havent completed the series yet
