2026 3520SE Opinion Request

About to pull the trigger on a 2026 3520SE. I am debt free outside of my mortgage and have been so for almost all of my life. Debt is something I have avoided like the plague. Driving beaters, being diligent with my credit card, budgeting very intentionally. I would hate to take on debt for something that is going to be a huge financial liability (outside of expected preventative maintenance).

Just looking to see if any of you have a warning or things to consider that I may not be. I understand engines and how to work on things, but I know myself and will feel uncomfortable working on a diesel so the warranty is key, I dont want to buy used as I would still need to finance at least part of a tractor unless I go very old.

Brush hog, stump grinder, loader work is the purpose. I have never used a tractor other than mowing lawns with a small John Deere as a kid. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Same price, different HP options.

First time tractor buyer. I have a 10 acre property that needs a lot of work. Brush hog, stump grinder, a relatively steep hill on the front half.

I have a Kioti and LS dealer near me. Both well established and I trust them equally. Both offering tractors within ~$700 OTD.

-2025 LS MT242H

Based on everything I've read the Kioti is what I think I want, but it feels dumb to give up a free 10hp.

Basically all things are equal other than manufacturer and HP. Cost, attachments, service, dealer distance etc. I have not driven either yet, and will do that before purchase but I'd rather buy the better tractor and deal with whatever ergonomics it has than buy a lesser tractor because it's slightly more comfortable.

I plan to keep this tractor for 30 years. 10-20 acres is all I will own (one neighboring property might be up for sale in a few years but no guarantee) which is where the 20 acres would come from.

I'm only 30, so poor ergonomics won't be back breaking for a long time. I can work on gas engines a bit, but know nothing about diesel so I am more concerned about reliability than anything else.

Please weigh in with your thoughts if willing. TIA!
