I’ll be graduating AIT (14G ADA) on the 21st. I have orders to Fort Cavazos. I’m married and trying to look for on post housing but is it true I can’t do it if my wife isn’t enrolled into Deers? I’m getting BAH but she isn’t listed as my dependent in Deers/IPPSA. They told me I can’t add her unless she has a visa. The lady that I talked to at deers 2 weeks ago said to just bring a copy of my wife’s passport, Birth certificate and ID. I brought all those documents and the lady I saw yesterday said I can’t add her in deers unless she’s in America and has a visa. Is this true ? I just got my orders on the 4th and really trying to look for on post housing now before I graduate. So I can hopefully move in shortly after arriving . Please help !!!
