I applied for PR via PNP Non-EE in March last year while living outside of Canada. We moved to Canada on work permits in May of last year and updated the address with IRCC. On April 21st, 2026, we received a passport request email. We went ahead and sent the documents as requested. On April 22nd we received P1, which we completed, and then P2 came on May 1st.

Today, I received the documents back from IRCC including COPR for myself and my dependent. I am unsure what the next steps are. Do we just wait for ECOPR at this point?

I’m looking to switch from a Garmin Forerunner 265 mostly due to battery life with GPS as I’ve been getting into running ultras. I won’t need the GPS for more than 40 hours at a time (mostly between 12-30 hours). I’ve seen that the Vertix 2S needed updating and had been leaning towards the Apex 4. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations/experience before I bought it. Thanks!

Edit: Initial replies seem to confirm my thoughts on going for the Apex 4 as I’ll need to watch within the next few months for a race! Thanks everyone!
