Is Meta Quest 3 good for flightsims, including military ones, for a person wearing glasses? What are the good alternatives?

I am IRL glider pilot and a student private pilot, and I am thinking about trying VR for the first time in aviasim since 2D experience is not enough for me now:D

It seems that Meta Quest 3 is the most populat choise for a VR set now if I am not mistaken. According to your experience, is that a good choise for flight simulators, including Il-2, DCS and others where it's important to spot and track the enemy from far away? I am also flying in MFS2024 and War Thunder SB sometimes. Please share your experience.

I wear glasses BTW so the comfort in VR with glasses is a key point for me. Thank you!

SP2's flight model is apparently realistic enough for making and flying this without raising questions. The stability of the aircraft changes depending on fuel amount, stall and spins feel quite real; performance and characteristics of this fictional "AF-1A" thing is quite realistic for such machine.

There are some bugs for taildraggers on takeoff though and the editor becomes a bit overwhelming when working on a complex aircraft with a lot of small elements. I also spent some hours fighting with the UI while trying to make the interior and the front glass. I hope there were more openworld activities too. But I hope they'll continue developing it deeply in Early Access.

There is a preset in the game for an instrument showing RPM. But it doesn't work for me, unlike other default gauges. I use a piston engine with 2400RMP and tried do change formula. Could you please help me with formula or maybe with something that I don't understand?

Since there’s no synchronized machine gun with a propeller in the game (or maybe I just didn’t figure out how to make one), I mounted the machine gun above the upper wing, above the propeller, just like on early World War I fighters.

I was surprised by SimplePlanes 2 flight model, it is quite good and allows to build realistically behaving old school biplanes! Yet some instruments are not very comfortable to use but I really hope SimplePlanes 2 becomes a new KSP for aviation lovers and continue improving during early access!
