So I just bought my first pair of binoculars (or bins as you call them, apparently). It's a pair of Svbony Sv202. After some reading these felt like a good back for back.

Overall I am very pleased with them. In the daytime they are great. However i bought them for stargazing, and I can never get a bright star like Venus sharp. The stat always has some smearing lines on one side, the direction of which is dependent on the star's position in my view. I tried to find the best spot in the left barrel, as well as in the right barrel, and they are not in the same place. So naturally I can never get a star to be in a good spot, i always have these smearing lines. I've learned that this is a collimation issue?

I am wondering if this is just due to the price range of 150€, or if this slipped through QA and I've received a relatively bad item.

Perhaps without images this is hard to tell, but I'm hoping to get some insights nonetheless.

(Ii have also tried a DiamondBack 8x42 from a friend of mine last week, and he did not have this issue at all).
