After a lot of internal debate, I am finally going to start using ozempic. I was terrified of the idea at first, and hated the thought of taking any sort of medication a few months ago. but i'm tired of living like this and i want to be able to start living life again.
ive dealt with severe anxiety and depression for many years completely unmedicated, and was finally convinced to start on bupropion xl 150 a few months back. for the first time in years i finally feel like i can make clearer decisions without much anxiety, which lead to me finally considering ozempic. i spoke with my doctor and because i have PCOS, im being prescribed metformin on top of my ozempic to help with more effective weight loss and to cut through some of the nausea.
my question is, does anyone have any advice for me? does anyone have any experience mixing these medications together? is there anything about starting ozempic that i should be aware of? i'm basically going from living my whole life taking no medications at all to taking three all at once. it's a little intimidating, but im excited to start living a better quality of life.
