Hi all, hope you can help me.

My name is Jon and it's my first post here

We are a Spanish family coming to Vancouver island in July for couple of weeks.

We have this vision of a secluded cabin, with access to a lake or river to kayak, fish, and chill.. We would love something remote without people arround for a few days with the kids...

We checked some lakes like Cowichan but we don't find the right cabin so far..

The closest we seen that looks like it is something called the burrow in shawnigan, or the Cowichan river lodge (expensive BTW)

Any suggestions that don't make us drive all the way up north?
