NPD: Flattley Bass Nirvana
Hey guys, this just arrived this afternoon and I wanted to give a shoutout to this company. I found out about Flattley Guitar & Bass Pedals about a month ago, and I was surprised to find they have an entire line of bass-specific effects! They have an analog chorus, envelope filter, phaser, boost, overdrive & fuzz; all specifically designed with bass in mind, so I was very intrigued to learn more about them.
This is the Bass Nirvana, their analog delay for bass guitar. As far as I know, I haven't found any other delay pedal that is analog and specifically designed for bass guitar. If there's another out there, let me know in the comments! It'd be cool to see another one in existence.
This pedals slaps, literally and figuratively! I use delay on bass for a kind of "room ambience" type of effect, very subtle. I've used a delay pedal with my bass before, but the repeats were muddying up my note definition. The echoes on this pedal are so nice; it sounds almost the same as the actual note played, and this helps tremendously with the room ambience! It's a very natural sounding pedal.
Eventually down the line I'll try to pick up their Bass Chorus and Envelope Filter, but for now this will be such a nice "always on" addition to my setup! Shoutout to Flattley Guitar Pedals for the killer device!
