Hey everyone! I've been enjoying my Moka pot for a few months now and I'm finally ready to start my pour-over journey. Since I'm importing gear from China, I figured I'd take advantage of the wider selection available and now I'm torn between a few options.
I was originally going to go with the Hario Switch 02/03, but I keep seeing people mention they wish they could get their hands on the Alpha Switch, so
since it's available to me, I'm seriously considering it. Has anyone used both? Is the Alpha worth going for over the standard Switch? or would it make more sense to just grab both the normal switch and Tritan Hario Switch and have the best of both worlds?
For context, my setup will be:
- Grinder: Kingrinder K6 (already owned)
- Kettle: Timemore Fish Pro X
- Scale: Timemore Black Mirror Basic 3 (upgrading from a budget one due to inconsistency)
Would love to hear any thoughts or recommendations from those who've tried either dripper. Thanks in advance!
