Constant Error 90002 on Elemental Tonberry
I'm losing my mind, I keep getting disconnected after 30-45mins and that's the luckiest I could be for the past week. Now it disconnects after like 5mins or sometimes literally right after I got in after being server congested. I tried playing at morning, afternoon, and now at night as I'm typing this and it's all the same. I've done everything I could such as:
- port forwarding on my router's settings via its IP (even though I connect wirelessly, I figured I should give it a shot too) and did the same thing on my firewall
- flush DNS
- changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- did the common internet options solution from the FFXIV forum
- set to run FFXIV as admin always
- restarted my router
- restarted my PC with every changes I've done
I keep doing speed tests on my wifi, it's always 120+ mbps at Download (149 latency) but the Upload is at 28 mbps (261 latency)-- is that what's causing the disconnects? I'm from SEA playing on an NA account if that helps
I've been playing since November 2025 and I haven't had any wifi issues on my laptop, now that I've upgraded to a PC it was working smoothly the past 2 months. I saw many players experiencing the same error so I'm not sure if it's still on the client side or on SE's. Any help would be appreciated!
