How much of regenerative medicine is actual repair vs symptom improvement?

So, it is pretty simple really. I’ve been trying to understand regenerative medicine better and keep running into mixed explanations because some people describe it as supporting actual tissue repair while others frame it more as reducing inflammation and improving function.

I’m guessing the truth is somewhere in between, but it’s difficult for regular people to understand where those lines actually are. So I would appreciate insight from anyone with more medical understanding of how these treatments are generally viewed.

Is buying tickets from third-party sites actually safe in 2026?

I was grabbing drinks with a coworker the other day and I remember how she mentioned that she'd paid double the face value for Champions League tickets last year, then almost got turned away at the gate because the QR wouldn’t scan. Now I’m stressing, because I’m trying to sort tickets for a big match and a Bruno Mars show on the same weekend for my girlfriend’s birthday.

Official sites are either sold out or have trash seats, so I’ve been checking all the usual resell places. A lot of them look sketchy or have weird fees that pop up at checkout. I even saw one called seatpin when doom-scrolling at like 1am and it looked decent, but I’ve never heard of it before and I’m paranoid about getting scammed.

It could just be me overthinking this, but I don’t really have money to burn on fake tickets.

So I wanted to ask this sub, how you guys decide which ticket sites are actually legit. Any red flags I should watch for (besides the super obvious stuff)? And has anyone here had good or bad experiences with Champions League / big concert tickets from lesser-known resellers?

Is using face search tools to find fake profiles "too far" privacy-wise?

So... I got into a weird situation last week. A coworker swore someone was using her pics on a dating app, so we were messing around trying to see if her face shows up elsewhere. That kind of spiraled me into late-night googling about facial recognition search tools that scan social media.

I found a bunch of sites that claim they can find accounts just from a photo, like face2social and similar stuff. On one hand, I get the general use case and stuff - finding catfish, checking if someone is using your profile pic, etc. On the other hand, my gut is screaming "this is exactly how we lose the last bits of anonymity online."

Maybe I’m overthinking this, but I can’t quite decide where the line is. Is using these tools to check for impersonation actually responsible, or does using them at all just normalise facial recognition surveillance?

Curious how y'all see this in 2026. Do you use any of these face search tools to protect yourselves? Would you, if you suspected impersonation? And do you think people uploading random pics of others to these sites should be considered a privacy violation?
