Question: how do I start going up/down ramps? how do I hold my body to maintain balance?

I can skate forward, I can balance on one foot for a decent distance. I can go backwards around the perimeter of the whole skate park. I can turn pretty well (spinning with my feet close together, and also with my legs more spread out so my weight is on one foot, and on the other leg, only in my back wheels are touching the ground). plow, T, and stopper stops are all decent.

I returned to skating last summer, after a twenty plus year hiatus.

I am on a pair of epic skates which I have replaced the cushions and the wheels on, because it came with all purpose wheels and I used softer boardwalks for the park, and i prefer harder cushions and tight trucks as I'm a heavier person (210lbs) so I have no issues with shifting my weight on tight trucks and hard cushions.

I always wear a helmet and I have tsg basics as ny pads.

I know that I eventually will need a pair of much more expensive park skates, but that is not in the budget right now. i do not plan on grinding rails anytime soon - the skate park near me has small ramps that are less than twenty inches in height as well as bigger ramps.

I am asking for all of you experienced park skaters to give me your best advice when one is beginning to learn how to go up and down ramps. i feel really intimidated at the idea of going up and down the ramp, but I feel like this is the next step in my evolution as a skater. if there are other basic skills that i'm missing, please tell me that as well, so that I can practice

thank you for your assistance!
