I lost my job close to a year ago now and there was about a month between then and finally getting another job. During that time I used things like afterpay and zip pay to survive while also having 2 loans to pay off plus rent and usual bills.
I’m working full time now, but I’m stuck in an endless loop of paying my afterpay/zip pay but then not having any money left for fuel and groceries therefore needing to use them again right away. Im doing any overtime I’m allowed to but I still can’t afford to pay my credit card and things like electricity because I have nothing left.
I thought maybe debt consolidation, turn the $400-$500 a week into $50 a week so I can afford to pay them off and my other bills to survive but I doubt I’d be approved based off my bank statement (my credit score is surprisingly good at least)
Does anyone have any advise that isn’t getting a higher paying job? I’m on 75k which is good for the industry I’m in and I have no education to work in something else.
