Who is doing it for the love of the game?
I was rewatching Angle vs Shane o' Mac in the run up to this year's backlash, cuz nostalgia. https://youtu.be/TulVe0yD630
And like.. I just want more wrestlers to be the way they were with each other before, during, & after this match. Their buildup to this was quick, but the heat felt real, and the match felt gritty... It was an overall great program.
The mere fact that Kurt was talking on IG here how after the fact they're in the hospital fist bumping each other match shows their hearts were truly in the right place, just loving the sport itself, wanting to entertain the fans, and cuz they are just so happy they put on an immortal ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ match.
Which leads me into my general question about the current roster. I don't think every match has to be like this (it's impossible, the bodily wear & tear is not sustainable, and Kurt even mentions there was a prop failure that made the glass scenes unintentionally extra hard core) but...
Who in 2026 in WWE, anywhere on the roster, emerging talent, or established, mens or women's division... do you feel is doing it the most for their love of the game?
