I’ve just moved in and saw a clump of bamboo on my fence line with neighbours. I cut it down and applied round up to the stumps. Then decided to look under the gravel and membrane to see if there were rhizomes and there were lots. I’ve dug them all up and traced it back to the fence as neighbours have it all along our joint fence. I’ve been round and it’s rented so I’ve contacted the agent and asked them to arrange a solution to stop their bamboo coming into my garden. I’ve dug all the rhizomes I can see out and dug a trench and ordered some bamboo membrane. Is this deep enough as all the rhizomes were pretty much surface level? Should I be doing anything else? Thanks for all and any advice, except to get a panda 😂
