Hi everyone,
I’m planning to apply to ISB and would really appreciate some honest feedback on my profile and chances.
Profile:
10th CBSE: 10 CGPA
12th CBSE: 88%
B.Tech in ECE: 8 CGPA
Work experience: 3 years at a big 4 as a Cybersecurity Consultant
Internship: 6 months as an SDE intern at a top Japanese software company
My role at EY is now nearing its conclusion, and I’m planning to put in my papers sometime this month. I’ll have a 3-month notice period to serve. I don’t have any gap years so far, but I’m concerned that quitting around this time might hurt my chances during the ISB application process. Unfortunately, I genuinely don’t have any other option but to quit.
Would really appreciate inputs from ISB admits/alums or anyone familiar with the process. How would you evaluate my profile, and do you think I would be competitive for ISB? Also, how negatively could quitting before/during the application process impact my chances?
