Homemade Hand crank Generator.
I just made my first hand crank generator with 4 old hoverboard wheel motors, a washing machine inductor motor (just for tension) and it's transmission axel for another tension wheel and driving wheel. It's pulley is paracord and I've used 2x4s for the frame. Feast your eyes 😂
Next I intend to get a larger driving wheel and a wider crank ratio for more leverage.
Then I'm to scavenge rectifiers to convert all these to DC, then an on/off switch followed by capacitor to smooth out voltage spikes, followed by a charge controller followed by the batteries. Alternatively I understand I could use a buck boost converter?
Then I can power anything DC within reason.
I'd like to know y'all's thoughts on this. Before this I was a combat medic in the army and I've never had experience with electrical or engineering work.
Edit: just formulated a plant to turn three old weed eaters and three rusty drums into smaller steam piston engines. Soon this will turn this crank.
