I’m a 42-year-old Portuguese father of two wonderful boys (ages 6 and 9) ❤️

On April 26, I’ll begin the Camino Portugués from Vila Nova de Cerveira, finishing in Santiago de Compostela on May 2. I’ll be walking it alone, and I can hardly wait—I’m really excited to start this journey. My sister, who is 30yo did the Camino 15 times already, and never repeated a Camino. Always a different path. I remember once I met her at the end of one Camino she walked, in Santiago in front of the cathedral and some tears run through my face. In that moment I decided that one day I would go for it myself. The day is right here ⭐️

I’d love your recommendations for a meaningful book to read along the way (in Portuguese or English). I’m not usually a big reader in my daily life, but during the Camino I’d like to spend a couple of hours each day with a truly special book 😊
