Tingling feeling on left side of head. Focal seizure?
Hi, all. Diagnosed in 2024 after my second TC. I got put on Lamictal and things have been generally fine, but I had an experience yesterday and I’m wondering if it sounds like a focal seizure. Anyone experience something similar?
I was sitting at my desk when I got a strong burning/tingling feeling at the top of my head on the left side. It then traveled down the left side of my face and to my neck. The whole thing lasted like 45 seconds but it was terrifying. I got really strong nausea when it happened too, but the nausea went away pretty quickly after.
Apparently, the left side of my body does weird stuff at the start of my TC seizures, so stuff that only happens on the left side of my body always gives me pause. Seeing my epileptologist soon and they always ask if I’ve had any seizures since my last appointment. I’m trying to figure out whether this experience counts as a potential seizure
