Hi everyone, I just launched my webapp called, it helps people who are learning a new language with a bunch of tools, to improve their listening, to acquire and train new vocabulary, and an AI assistant that you can ask for everything else like grammar or the meaning of some expressions and so on. Almost everything you need to learn a new language all in one place, and using youtube videos with the full speed, unsimplified target language to learn better! It's been I think about a week of launching and it has been extremely hard getting even one user going. I tried making YouTube videos but they get 0 impressions, so I don't even have the chance to get views in the first place. And I tried reddit but you get your posts deleted because of self promotion, same story goes for discord servers
And for ads I wanted to try Reddit Ads and X ads, first of all x ads just gave me Halted status with no reason for why it did that or anyway to fix it. And I appeal and they declined my appeal. So I just threw it away anyway, I couldn't be bothered to try more of they were unwilling to do so in the first place. And for Reddit my ads are pending approval so I'll wait and tell you how it goes.
Furthermore, I tried posting content on tiktok, it got a little bit of traction, but the thing is I would attracting mostly Moroccan users, and unfortunately such a service won't have a lot of paying users at all. 99% would end up being just free users and never paying.
And SEO I just discovered recently and I am working on it to make it work for my website, my blog hasn't yet appeared in Google, because I heard it takes a few days to do so, so I'll wait and see how it turns out
So anyone has any experience with promoting their app, webapp, product or anything they built to western audiences online? If so how did you do it?
