Buying a house in Ireland is so disheartening 💔
My god is the second hand home market tough . We both don’t earn crazy money , I’d say we are quite avarage in what we can afford (450k max that’s with all our savings too) Both still young , no kids.
One month in and I’m already finding it very tough, houses being outbid past what we can afford.
We do want to buy in North Dublin as it’s where we grew up and want to be close to family when kids come around.
But it seems like we have to move out of Dublin… Which I feel like I’ll find quite hard .
We aren’t tied to a certain location but we want a location that’s accessible , family oriented, has decent public transport, parks , gyms close by , good schools etc etc a 3 bed …
It all just seems impossible, do we leave Dublin ? Any locations that would be a decent area ? We both just feel lost !
Might just live at home forever 🥲
