First Solo Trip: South of France
Hello! I’ll be in Cannes/Antibes for work and plan to extend my trip a few days for my first solo Euro trip! I plan to add on an extra 3-4 days in the south of France.
A little about me and the vibe I’m looking for:
- early 30s, studied English with a focus in medieval travel narratives so would love to stay in a historic area
- love good wine, especially sancerre
- not interested in crazy night life, so would prefer a quieter area
- budget isn’t too much of a concern, goal is safety and comfort!
Looking for the following recommendations:
- Which town should I stay in?
- Any specific historical tours/activities you recco
- Restaurants!
- Local shopping (looking to purchase a local-made, high quality leather purse).
- Hotel recs
- Anything else you’d recco!!
Thanks, friends :)
