Hi,

I have perio, gum recession on left lateral incisor recently started to recede after SRP. Had a 5mm pocket gone down to 2/3 I believe. Periodontist says I’m stable and starting maintenance in June. I’ll also be starting ortho.

I REALLY hate the look of my receded gum. I understand gum grafts can fail, and I know I technically don’t have enough recession, but I’m curious if I’d be eligible or am I in a wait & monitor phase.

Additionally, my periodontist mentioned I could alt to do gingivectomy, but I don’t want to cut gums and bone in fear of a relapse removing more.
