I just wanted to make this post for those that spiraled hard like I did when finding out and going down the rabbit hole of cancer worry. I had a small little red papule that appeared on my glan that was biopsied and revealed bowenoid papulosis in situ. However I went down this rabbit hole of thinking I had EQ, Bowens disease and you name it. Constantly stressed for a month back and forth I visited my dermatologist 7 times in the last month because I was scared. Had him look at my penis numerous times and eventually after asking all the questions I could he said you don’t have EQ you don’t have bowens. Hpv 16 Bowenoid Papulosis is not a death sentence, like my dermatologist told me. He was adamant about saying you’ll be fine we just monitor 3-6 months. I wanted to give any guy that has ran into the same thing that eventually it gets better. Recurrences happen but as long as we’re monitored we are good. HPV even HR types can happen , shit happens but the stats are in our favor. That’s where im trying to get to mentally. In addition to that I’ve added AHCC to my supplement regime. I am a 31 M who’s healthy active and mentally stressed but better days are ahead. Keep your head up! Also to add, do not GOOGLE OR CHAT GPT. Trust your dermatologists they’re trained and visually have seen these things. The rare cases online trip you up and I know. Severe health ocd here telling you to not go that route 🤣
