Local 399 bullshit
I’ve been a member for about 2 years with local 399, I’m also an active chief engineer at a local 1 high rise residential building. I joined 399 as a SALT member or C class member in hopes that if I complete a bunch of classes and seminars and get licensed which I did, I can be put on the union job board but when I called I can still only have access to the non union job listings which is bullshit. This union is full of nepo babies and they hardly give qualified people a chance.
