I have a blue death feigning beetle with a leg that is broken so it points straight down. He has trouble moving around the cage, as well as getting his mouth low enough to eat because this leg is almost like a rudder pointing straight down into the substrate. I think this bugs quality of life would be much higher if the leg was removed what is the safest way to go about this for the beetle.its his front left leg. You can see in the picture how the leg is straight down and the beetle cannot walk on a flat surface.
