What College Course should I pick?
Hello po! I need help picking a course... huhu!
I'm applying for UPD, and here are my choices of courses
1st: Biology
2nd: Education
3rd: Public Administration
If I get accepted into ADMU, I will pursue Education or Public Administration. UST, I'll most likely pursue Biology. I really want to study Biology because I'm interested in becoming a Pediatrician in the future. I also really want to work in the field of education because I want to become a curriculum designer, researcher for education, or a teacher. Although I don't have much background in biology, but I am really interested in learning it and working with kids. Not to mention, my chosen SHS strand is HUMSS, which may be a disadvantage. I am willing to work hard for biology, but I am still really passionate about education and public services in general. I am planning to major in education, but take science prerequisites to help me get into med school in the future, siguro to get a taste of what it's like working in the lab before getting fully into it (to see if I actually enjoy it or not since I am a complete newbie 😭). I also want to consider double-majoring in Education and Public Administration, while taking science prerequisites, but that would be pretty difficult D:
My parents said naman that they can provide for and choose whatever I am passionate about, but I am really passionate about the three because I want to work in a field deeply rooted in improving public services and looking out for people's well-being. I am willing to sacrifice my time and effort for any major, but as much as possible, I want a way to pursue them all while being realistic and measurable.
