Most hot plate discussions just end up being “any double burner is fine” but I’m not really convinced they all perform the same once you actually use them daily.

I need a double burner mainly for extra cooking space since my main stove gets crowded when I’m cooking multiple dishes. Kitchen is small so it also needs to be fairly compact and stable on the counter.

I’m seeing coil types and cast iron top types, plus different wattage ranges from around 1500W up to 2000W. Some say coil heats faster but uneven, others say cast iron is more consistent but slower to adjust temperature.

Hard to tell which one actually makes a difference in normal cooking and which specs are just marketing talk.

What type ends up being the most reliable for everyday use without uneven heating or feeling too weak when both burners are on?

I’ve been using a cheap heating pad for a while after dealing with some back tightness, but it’s kinda inconsistent. Sometimes it heats up fine, other times it barely feels warm enough to help.

Looking for something electric with adjustable heat settings that actually stays consistent and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break after a few months. Prefer something soft and comfortable since I usually use it while resting or lying down.

Not sure if the more expensive ones are actually better or just feel nicer at first. Would be good to know what people here are actually still using long term.

Ceiling fan category here is kinda getting repetitive already, everyone just keeps saying the same brands like it’s the only options and I still can’t tell what’s actually worth it or just popular because it gets recommended a lot.

I’m replacing an old basic pull chain fan and I want something more modern this time, preferably ceiling fan with remote control since I don’t really want to keep using wall switches for speed changes and all that. Room is medium size bedroom so I don’t need anything too heavy duty but I also don’t want something weak airflow.

Budget is around mid range, not really going for the cheapest but also not those expensive designer ones. I keep seeing DC motor fans with remote, 6 speed settings, timer, reverse mode etc. On paper they all look the same so I’m not sure what actually matters in real use.

Between the common ones like basic modern DC fans, the ones with LED lights, and the minimal low profile ones, what’s actually the better pick for daily use? And are remote controlled ones usually reliable long term or do they end up annoying after a while?

been feeling like I catch colds a bit easier lately especially when im tired or busy so I started looking into vitamin C tablets again

there’s so many versions now like plain vitamin C, buffered ones, effervescent, even combos with zinc and other stuff and honestly it gets confusing which one actually makes sense for daily use

not really trying to mega dose anything just something simple for immune support and maybe general health, nothing complicated

also not sure if higher mg is actually better or if it’s just marketing since I keep seeing very different dosages everywhere

budget is flexible but I don’t want to waste money on something overhyped

what are you guys actually taking right now, something basic or combo vitamins, and did you notice any real difference or more just peace of mind?
