Can someone who is smarter than me please explain what is going on after the banquet. One second geralt is making sweet love then the next, war and betrayal. K

I've just gotten halfway through the book and can't for the life of me understand why people like triss. She tries to manipulate geralt almost every chance she gets and only started to like him on the first place for some kind of guilt tripping fetish. Then in the first game she manipulates him again into joining the war and loving her. Am I reading this wrong or does she get better? I'm so confused.

Can anyone who read the novel tell me if the FL stays the strongest or is the ml stronger? Personally I hate it when OI series create this image of a strong fl only for the ml to come along and be stronger. I don't need another damsel in distress.

I've been having a problem recently when trying to use the controller wireless. For some reason it acts like it has stick drift but when I play wired it works perfectly. Any idea how I can fix this?
