rest day calories

so tomorrow I have to take a rest day because it's my brothers graduation. I never take days off and burn about 1300-1700 active calories a day from cardio (I don't track any strength work on my watch because I know it over counts) I maintain at about 2700-3000 and was wondering if tmr I should cut down to 1200 because I'm not working out? the idea of eating less is actually making me spiral and like I'm currently trying to figure out how to keep my activity up but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. do you guys eat less when you are forced to rest??
