Hello guys, I applied to Gaotu/GoTalk ESL company and passed the demo. I’ll start teaching tomorrow. I’m thinking if it’s worth it since the pay is ₱60 per hour, but there are a lot of rules and penalties and it's by booking and not regular job.There are also many group chats and apps needed for teaching. I’ll be teaching both kids and adults, including Business English.
For context, I just graduated, and this will be my first job. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. I don’t want to apply to DepEd because I heard it’s hard to get in lalo na pag wala kang backer.
Do you think I should go for it, or should I look for a better company? The problem is, I don’t have any experience yet aside from my OJT.
