Need Help with Choosing my Degrees
Hello! I am going through a crisis with school right now.
My dilemma: I originally wanted to be an epidemiologist. With the current state of public health, I know when I graduate college it will be difficult for me to find a job. I have considered double majoring/minoring in Health Policy and Administration (HPA) as it is still in the public health field. Or statistic, and maybe nutrition. I have talked to my academic advisors and even a career counselor, but it was not much help.
Overall, I am not sure what pathway that will provide me with a future career in public/global health.
My question: What are your thoughts on double majoring in health policy? Will it provide me with more opportunities? How about for biostatistics? What careers should I be thinking about?
