The book is about. Boy who gets shot with an arrow and although they remove it it’s slowly traveling to his heart he journeys across the forest learning magic (I think) as he goes to fight a dark entity who put the curse on him

That’s all I remember I read the book as a teen and cannot remember the name of it but I feel like it had a sword on the cover
