Help map my meals!

Hi all! Trying to map out my food for a weekend in Philly. I’m open to suggestions but also want some feedback on logistics.

Biggest concern is that I’ll be bringing my 4 year old, so can’t do TOO much walking, but will have my car… so the issue then becomes parking.

You can also convince me to use SEPTA but I’ve never heard anyone say something positive about that.

Okay so the advice I need:

-Friday coming in the afterhnoon from north jersey, so open to any lunch picks along 95 that might make sense.

-Staying by City Hall so walking distance probably would work best for dinner

-Saturday: going to the zoo. I really want to go to Baby’s, so figured we’d do that for breakfast since it seems on the way, driving wise. Let me know if I’m wrong and should do that for another meal.

-recommendation for lunch after the zoo is welcome!

-need a good place to stop for cheese steaks. Not looking for the best in the world. My preference is Jim’s but parking can suck. Any recommendations? (Maybe something further out to eat on the way in?)

-we might got to the Franklin institute so potentially food around there?

So yeah, any help for good places that are accessible by car/short walk and kid friendly are appreciated! (Anyone know if Nom Wah is good/kid friendly?)
