Hey all,
Trying to identify/find my childhood baby blanket from around 2001–2004-ish. My mom can’t fully remember where it came from, but it was possibly from Baby Gap, Gymboree, Old Navy, or a similar store/brand from that era.
I attached current photos plus an older childhood photo to help show the original colors/design. The blanket has over 20 years of love/washing, so the colors are very faded now.
Description:
- Originally light pink/blush colored
- Had a giraffe knitted into the bottom left corner
- Back side had a wide brown/tan color block along the bottom with the reverse image of the giraffe
- Double-layered blanket
- NOT fleece/plush/minky
- Material was more of a cotton sweater-knit/jacquard woven material
- Very soft/stretchy knit texture
- Minimalist design (not an all-over animal print)
The giraffe was knitted directly into the blanket fabric itself, not sewn on or embroidered.
Would love if anyone recognizes it or remembers a specific collection/name/brand! Hoping to eventually find someone reselling as my pup keeps slowly destroying my current one and I can’t bear living without one!
T.I.A.!!!
