Hi everyone,

I’m a Software Developer with 2.5 years of experience(Service-based), targeting a switch to a good product-based company (non-FAANG) with a 12+ LPA package.

Wanted some honest feedback on my prep and what I should focus on next.

My Preparation So Far

DSA: (Descent 450 questions)

  • Arrays, Strings
  • Hashing, Sliding Window, Two Pointer
  • Linked List, Stack
  • Trees & BST
  • Graphs
  • Heap
  • Greedy
  • Dynamic Programming
  • Backtracking

Backend / Core:

  • Java (Core + Multithreading)
  • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
  • REST APIs
  • JPA / Hibernate
  • SQL
  • System Design Patterns and basics
  • Microservices basics and Kafka

My Questions

  • What should I focus on next: DSA (hard), System Design, or Backend depth?
  • Am I on the right track for 12+ LPA roles?
  • Which companies should I target realistically?
