Nuvaring Question
Hi everyone! I hope i explain my question correctly….
I use the nuvaring (Generic EnilloRing) and i usually use it 21 on 7 off. Well, my 7 off this coming month falls on my birthday, and i didn’t want to be on my period for my birthday (I would like to have sex with my partner). My question is, Can i keep my ring in for four weeks? My change day is Wednesday, so keep the same ring in for 4 weeks, and then insert a new ring the 4th Wednesday? After skipping this period, i’d resume back to the 21 on 7 off.
I suppose i’m asking if i did this method, would i still be fully protected? Or would it be best to insert a new ring on the 21st day instead of doing a withdraw week?
I’ve sent my gyn a message as well asking, but i wanted to see if anyone else has had experience with this.
