Does it matter how long you’re out of Mexico if you have PR? I have the old booklet and need to exchange it for the card in order to begin my Mexican pension process. I lived and worked in Mexico for 20 years, 25 years ago, and am trying to claim my pension, but the first step is sending for my file to Mexico City and hope someone will find it in some dark, dusty basement, in the ‘archivo muerto’.
