Scribe for college

My ADHD daughter, who is soon to be a college student, has asked for the kindle scribe color as a graduation gift from high school. She is interested in the scribe so that she doesn't get distracted by apps and things on an ipad. She already has an apple computer. She likes writing directly on things. Some of the things that she is worried about is whether or not she will be able to access textbooks from the scribe. Does anybody have experience with this? she also wants to know about integrating her calendar, or the best way to use a planner with the scribe. I have a 2024 original scribe and I am hoping it will eventually get the google and one drive accessibility, but it doesn't for now, so I'm not really sure how to help her with some of her questions. what are your thoughts? Should I do the scribe, or should I just do an iPad? And get the pin and the film to go over the screen.?

My daughter will be entering fall 2026. She and her roommate like to go to the gym and want to be near Sanderson Center. However they are building their list and do not want to move their cars for game days. So Davenport and Dogwood moved down the list. They are open to Nunnelee and others in Zachariahs Village, but came across Magnolia and were wondering if the gym inside is usually functional, or is it one of those places that gets little care and has broken equipment. They said they may move it up the list if the reviews are good. Lol. Thanks for any insight.
