Sturdy SLR for beginner

Hi,

I'm new to film but I've had my experience with my fujica compact 35 and I love it. Problem is my Fujica's lightmeter is dead and its only a compact, so I'm searching for a SLR to explore more. After research I've decided to aim for a mechanical SLR with a budget of 70€. The goal is to have a machine that can help me shoot urban night scene and can accompany me for a long time, not just beginner level. So far I've rounded up a few options:

- Pentax Spotmatic Sp2/Sp1000

  • Yashica FX3 Super 2000
  • Olympus OM1-2 (very rarely within my budget but i can try digging)

Can you help me expand my list or vote for the one you think is the best choice? Thanks a lot!

Hello y'all, i'm fairly new to film cameras. I started out with a Fujica compact 35 that's really nice I love the experience and have gotten used to the range focus, but the flash has died along w the selenium cell so I'm reserving it for day pictures and picking another SLR for good night shooting. With a budget of <70 euros I'm aiming for likewise old and compact cameras because I like the design (and price) and it's not too heavy for carrying around the city. I also prefer manual focus, with an auto mode if possible.

I've checked out the Olympus OM-10 and Fujica ST801 but I'm looking for more info before I get one. Anyone has any recommendation to make? Thanks ahead!

Hello everyone,

Can anyone share a bit of experience on sleeping/resting in arrival zone at T1 terminal in El Prat airport? I have a flight landing at 11pm, but since its Vueling and I'm returning from Morocco with a non-EU passport I bet it will take 1h-1h30 until I pass through the border police. Then I'm taking A2 shuttle at 5am from T1 to go to the connecting point for my blablacar. Overall it gives me like 4h of transfer so I see no use in renting a hotel because they're really expensive and I have to exit the airport. I only have a backpack with me and I don't intend to lie down, anywhere with cushioned chair is fine. I plan to eat and work a bit on my laptop so a still opened cafe/restaurant is also a good recommendation.

Thank you very much!

Update 1: flight on time, border control went too fast. Its 23:11 the arrival area of T1 has a decent crowd, 3 small cafés still open. Theres one called Go Natural which is especially favoured, im sitting across a group of policia. People are working on their laptop here. Let's see if its still crowded at 2am
